Wolf River Brisket Co. - Olive Branch

Probably the worst food I ordered in Memphis and nearby. Fits this place a few times and said oh this place looks fancy, I have to try. Unfortunately, I made a pickup order. The Brisket or so-called Brisket Nachos tasted like blue corn nachos with cheap can chili with 4-5 oinky brisket fat in it. Absolutely terrible and certainly not worth more than $5!!! The brussel sprouts were much too tart and bitter without taste. The chicken salad sandwich was tasteless. Kroger has better chicken salad than that. Summary....I could have taken up grocery stores that taste better than that. Obviously, the chefs are culinary dropouts or online culinary failures. I am in awe that this place has all the good reviews and the bad reviews that I certainly understand. Definitely my worst culinary experience in the area. FYI... the mini container of the alleged Brisket (aka chili with fat parts) I came separated from the nachos, but I didn't get a photo of it

In the city for work and made a return visit to this location (first trip was in spring 2021). Overall, the food was good and the service of our waitress, Lillian, was great. I ordered the brisket mixed with both fat and lean bits, but it seemed mainly slim and dry. Still had good taste though and will certainly return when in the city.

The service was excellent! LaDonna was very friendly and professional! I ordered the 3 meat dishes containing brisket, burning smoke sausage. My pages were macaroni and cheese, brussel spouts wafer cornbread. I also had bread pudding with French vanilla ice cream. I will definitely be back!

Love the atmosphere and decor. Staff is friendly and the food is delicious. Definitely recommend the Shrimp and Grits or the Burnt End and Waffles.

Restaurant was very slow, but service was still lacking. Waiter barely came around, I had to get up and find another waiter to get something my child needed to eat. We got water with our meal but it tasted like tap water no type of filtration, so we got sweet tea. The tea was really good but the waiter never came once and offered refills. My wife got the sandwich, she thought it was good but not great. Barbecue nachos is what I wanted so I got the brisket chili nachos. It was disappointing, tasted like your average chili cheese nacho, brisket seemed to be part of the chili but wasn?t tasted at all. Seemed weird that I couldn?t get a straight brisket barbecue nacho without it being chili based. Overall it?s decent food but definitely leaves more to be desired. Hope this feedback helps.
