Wayback Burgers - Olive Branch

The burgers and fries here are absolutely delicious! The meat has a genuine beef flavor, and the shakes are simply irresistible. It’s one of my favorite burger spots!

Came in one evening and ordered some food to go. Service was pretty quick and food was made fresh. Once hubby and I got home, we dove right on in. Food was still good and hot. I ordered the Cajun burger and onion rings and hubby ordered chicken tenders and fries. The food was decent, but nothing super special. We did enjoy it, but nothing made us say we'd hurry back to have it again. I think the burger patty and the tenders could use a little seasoning. Fries and onion rings were good. The menu is pretty loaded so maybe someday we'll circle back and try something else.

I ordered an Impossible Burger to go, and the restaurant was quite empty at the time. I decided to pass the time by browsing next door at Hobby Lobby until my order was ready. Unfortunately, it seems like the staff wasn’t very careful with my food. When I got home, I noticed that the person who made my burger hadn't paid attention to the details. The outer part of the burger was flipped inside, and the ketchup and onions were on the outside. I took a bite and quickly realized this wasn't how the sandwich is supposed to be made. I thought it might be some new style of preparing the Impossible Burger, but after checking online, I confirmed that it definitely wasn't right. To sum it up, I won’t be returning.

The burger patty itself lacked flavor. I've found that salting the grill while cooking the beef helps enhance its taste, whereas salting it afterward doesn't have the same effect. Additionally, it's important to let the meat brown properly.
