For us it is the best restaurant in the city as it is finally something else than the many fish restaurants which put the fish on the barbecue and nothing else. Ti Anica offers a great variety of local and fresh seafood and the dishes are very creative and just amazing! Our favorites are the „mussels our way“, the cockles directly out of the ria and the various temakis made with seagrass. The service personnel is young, extremely friendly and always keen to help out with some recommendations! Joao the owner is also always nearby and has always a good feeling for the perfect wine. Just try this place, you won’t be disappointed!

I visited this restaurant with my boyfriend, with a bit of trepidation as we’d read mixed reviews online. However, when we arrived the staff were accommodating and friendly and we had a great meal. We weren’t bowled over by the menu, as we had been hoping to get a classic fish dish, but we were really pleasantly surprised. We ordered oysters ‘au natural’ and the shells ‘a minute’ as starters. I’ve never tried oysters before and am still not convinced, but they were served beautifully on ice with a lemon accompaniment. The stars of the show were the shells, which turned out to be clams, cooked in a minute on our table presentation: 10/10. We then had the ‘cold mackerel’ dish and ‘linguine with shells’ as mains, which were equally delicious. The mackerel looked small but was really tasty and surprisingly filling. The staff were attentive throughout our meal, despite the restaurant being very busy. Would highly recommend.
