Fantastic restaurant. Really professional, friendly and attentive staff. Great range of delicious food prepared by top quality chef. And really excellent value. Very popular with locals and tourist alike.

This place is truly amazing. Basically a take-away, with some chairs and tables for the lunchtime crowd. It serves stunning, home-cooked Portuguese cuisine at ridiculously cheap prices, and with really nice friendly people behind the counter. The menu is wide-ranging (a soup; eight or so main dishes; dessert etc., and drinks for those eating in) and changes every day so you know it is all freshly cooked. We were staying not far away, and looked in out of curiosity. Glad we did. Portions, by the way, are enormous, even by Portuguese standards. One 'dose 'or portion of cod gave two main meals for two and a light tapa the next day. This is a place not to miss. Easy to find on the road from Quelfes into Olhao, and 100m from the EN125.
