Overpriced, but food was good. Typical small plates where every tiny bite costs an arm and a leg. Nothing special.
Place was a bit noisy in the front because of Sunday, the street is pedestrian on Sunday and people were playing music on the street and downstairs. We sat in the back terrace. It was a nice terrace. I had calamari, which was nice and refreshing. Food was nothing to write home about, equally for the presentation. I wouldn't be going back, BUT at the same time I don't have anything bad to say. It was just a convenient spot for me and my friend to grab a quick bite.
The food and wine here is just fantastic, but it is a little telling that it was absolutely dead on 8:00 p.m. on a weekend night. Service was sloooooow, even by actual Spanish-in-Spain standards--empty water glasses, etc, but friendly. Two older ladies actually walked out, screaming at staff for flirting with one another instead of actually assisting customers.
The best tapas in the city...amazing staff, always helpful and checking in with customers often. The tapas are generous, delicious, and reasonably priced. I would recommend the bacon wrapped stuffed dates, ceviche, and avocado fries with a big jug of sangria to anyone.
