Gatsby By Windsor Arms - Old Toronto

Overall, it was a nice buffet with fairly good service. I was disappointed to find that the turkey was only white meat.

I visited Gatsbys for lunch on the Tuesday before Christmas, following a wonderful event in their banquet room. Unfortunately, this time my experience was quite disappointing. My meal included an overcooked liver dish and a plate of Brazilian steak that was tougher than leather, clearly lacking proper marination and preparation. While the venue is suitable for events and likely attracts a range of notable patrons, our visit was not as enjoyable as the last one. Perhaps the kitchen was having an off day?

Food was excellent and the venue was lovely. We originally sat by a family with kids screaming but were able to move to a quieter location.

From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out the service was outstanding. The server was attentive, answered our questions, took an amazing picture of u a and made us feel at home. The server had great knowledge of the cocktail menu/ wine list and menu. We have been many times for lunch this was our first dinner to celebrate a milestone birthday. Will definitely be back.

The atmosphere is fantastic, featuring a classic lounge vibe. The cocktails are excellent, and both the food and service are superb!
