Jack Rabbit's Burgers, Wings And Things

Can't go wrong with one of their meals. Appetizers, salads and burgers are all top notches. I'll try whenever I'm in the area.

Good dogs and milkshakes. I saw light on the staff. I miss this waitress, Katelyn, she had a bright personality and was super friendly. I hope she's coming back.

We ate in Black Jack Saloon, which is five stars for me and decided to taste her sister restaurants. Came in and it was small burger connection, not super clean. Have a nice menu with shakes and dessert options. Ordered the simple hamburger who says it comes with salad and tomatoes, but just came with a burger on a bungalow. Nothing else. Also ordered the UP-Burger. I asked for everything because of the disabilities it wasn't. Burgers come with nothing. You also need to order frits, onion rings, sweet potatoes etc. The service was fast and fast. Eating quickly came out and Burgers were tasy.

To write this review in hope management will see. Raised here in Old Saybrook Jack Rabbits was my favorite restaurant as a preteen, as I got older, I changed to Rabbit Hole, which is still in my top 3 favorite restaurants of all time. As a manager even in local restaurants, I will say I lose hope in this place (Jack Rabbits). (Rabbit Hole is amazing, especially Scott, he's the best server, even remembered my order when I was there regularly) But on the other side of this wall I am very disappointed, unfortunately I usually have time to take now a day because I work many hours. Yesterday night 9/11/22 I called two things for recording at 19:15. The phone was busy, so I decided to wait until 7:30 to call back. The line was no longer busy, but they did not answer. I called again and again until the server decided to answer, and I say I want to place an order for the takeover. She was unbelievably rude and said, "You better come here before 8:00 because I?m the doors at 8 and then you? Are you asked? I'm stupid. If one of my servers has spoken to our customers, they will be fired immediately. I don't know if they are taught in this way, or they weren't trained in customer service, but I have tried many times to take off between 7pm-8pm after visiting my parents to take home with me as I live an hour away from Saybrook. They never answer. My restaurant also closes at 8 p.m. and we take orders by 8 p.m. I told the girl that I was only 5 minutes away and how I showed up the phone ringed and she ignored it again. My sum was around $30, gave her $35 said that they keep the change, hoping that they learn to appreciate the customers because without supporting them the business, it will no longer be business. I hope things go back to normal for this business, Kovid has done some damage to us all, people seem like they don't know how important it is to have a good work ethics. I'll still support Jack in the hole and in the saloon if I ever get time to immerse, but I'll go somewhere else from now on to get out.

The best burgers, dogs, and chicken sandwiches! The crew of stellar bartenders make sure you?re drink is full and the good times roll. My favorite lunch spot when I?m in the area, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
