Applausi Osteria Toscana

We loved the food that Tuna Tartar, grilled Squid, and ziti bolognese! The server was not easy to understand due to its accent, not from Italy. The service was a little slow, even though we were one of two tables.

This Italian restaurant was very good. The ravioli stuffed with crabmeat and a cream sauce was excellent. I had a really good eggplant appetizer. The menu has ample selections to choose from with pasta dishes, chicken, veal, fish, salads, and great appetizers. The service was very good for a busy night. I was warmly welcomed and they made sure everything was ok.

The staff here are friendly and attentive, however the food and atmosphere are just OK. All of the dishes we had were well cooked, but the presentation, flavors, and overall taste were somewhat bland. Not sure the premium prices are justified.
