Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Restaurant

Nothing is home-made anymore. Cheap prepacked frozen breakfast meat. My loaded casserole had sliced cheese on it.

I got here too late to ask permission, but I parked overnight in their parking lot with my camper. When I woke up in the morning, I stepped inside to get breakfast and it felt like stepping into a little piece of southern heaven. I love the atmosphere of Cracker Barrels ' country store. They were able to seat me very quickly and my server was very pleasant. She tackled the insurmountable task of keeping my sweet tea topped off. It almost felt like a game, but as quickly as I drained the glass, there was a pitcher filling it up. I asked if they still brought out biscuits and cornbread before the meal and she let me know that it was no longer standard, but that she would be happy to bring me out some biscuits and apple butter while I was waiting. I barely had time to enjoy the first biscuit I slathered their delicious apple butter on before they brought out the multi course meal that they call the country boy breakfast. It 's a good thing I sat down with an appetite because I was stuffed by the time I left. Every staff I interacted with was very friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was unbelievable. Food was great as usual, new waitress got a little mixed up, but all was well. This is our go to place. Very good food....We had chicken fried chicken and it was very tender... Ron

Came here for date night and unfortunately didn't have the best experience. Waited ten minutes to be greeted. First she checked my ID and tried saying i wasnt old enought to drink (born in 1997) she evenetually found out how old i was. our appetizer came out cold and with the rest of our food. We sent it back just to have her say the oven caught on fire and they were remaking it. It came back out cheese unmelted. We also both got the wrong meals and when we brought it to our servers attention she didn't want to bring it back. Food came back out cold. It all over was a bad experience. Not one visit from management.

Madeleine was a great waitress who attended to all our ends! Thank you for the great hospitality and service
