Anejo Modern Mexican Cuisine - Olathe

I went to the restaurant at 1:00 PM and it was completely quiet, with only three people there, which didn’t seem like a good sign. I was seated at a table and waited about 10 minutes for a server to come. I ordered two margaritas and had to wait again, but they were delicious. The chips I received were not warm and seemed like they came straight out of a bag; they were just mediocre. I also ordered guacamole, which was utterly tasteless and looked like chunks of avocado mixed with bits of unappetizing fat and tomatoes. There wasn’t a hint of garlic in it, making it worse than almost any store-bought guacamole I've ever had. The salsa was uninspiring as well. Overall, I had a disappointing experience and wouldn’t return. I wish the restaurant all the best.

We ordered the street corn, which was clearly frozen and just reheated; it tasted terrible. My partner ordered a chicken burrito, but they brought the wrong dish. Since the service was so lacking, we couldn't get anyone's attention to address the issue until the end of our meal. Even then, we were charged the full $18 for the burrito. The "happy fiesta" was just mediocre. The restaurant itself is in need of some serious upkeep; the bathrooms were dirty and in disrepair. Overall, this place needs significant improvements to even begin to compete with the numerous other Mexican restaurants in Johnson County.

My daughter and wife recommended this restaurant to me, praising both the food and the service. So, my husband and I decided to give it a try, and let me tell you, the dining experience was incredible! Our waiter, Antonio, went above and beyond, providing us with outstanding service. We felt like we received 10-star treatment! We are definitely planning to come back. I also ordered the mango margarita, and it was absolutely delicious—you have to try it! I rate this restaurant a perfect 20 out of 10!

The food was fresh, and was amazing. I have never cleaned my plate at a Mexican restaurant before. I also tried their house margarita, and was one of the best ones I've had. I will definitely be back and will recommend to everyone I know.

The atmosphere is very nice and classy. The service was fantastic. But the food was just okay. Unfortunately I did not have time to have an alcoholic drink, but they did look good.
