Le Funambule - Olargues

As one of our local bars , we visit on a fairly regular but casual basis. The proprietors are friendly and welcoming. With street side, in sun shaded location which offers passing views, the inside seating is made up of multi seating tables. The range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks including a range of coffee’s, teas and chocolate.

Lovely traditional bar/restaurant. We cycled from St Pons de Thomieres on the Voie Vert. We had the plat du jour for lunch, there were two options, we chose pork cheeks and fries. The pork was cooked very well, it melted in your mouth. The owner was really welcoming and made ordering easy and fun despite our limited French. We thought it was reasonable value for the area and would recommend a visit

Je recommande vivement le plat de seiche avec la persillade et l'aïoli maison. Les desserts sont délicieux et le service est très accueillant.

Un endroit chaleureux avec un accueil très agréable. Les repas sont de qualité et de saison, et le personnel est très sympathique. En bref, une belle découverte.

Atypical atmosphere under rock vaults. The service is impeccable, the menu is not large but the dishes tasted were divine.
