Whataburger - Oklahoma City

I have fond memories of the original Whataburger located at 36th and May Avenue. I often ate there during my time at NW Classen High School. The genuine Whataburger flavor was always present, and you could even catch a whiff of it from several blocks away, wafting out from the triangular-shaped roofs and the covered drive-thru area. I've attached the best picture I could find of it. In my view, Whataburger remains one of the best fast-food burgers available today.

A charming restaurant! I enjoyed a delicious and filling chicken salad there.

I'm not usually a quiet person, so being asked to repeat myself three times was frustrating, especially with the rude conversations happening in the background at the drive-thru. Fortunately, I had an excellent experience at the Jack in the Box next door. I recommend not wasting your time or money at this place.

11/2/22 12:00am. I got another person's order. Disappointing sense this location has been good sense an entire year. Either management or workers need to pay attention. Honestly won't be back. Been eating whataburger sense Texas and this is the bestOKC has got to offer. Shame. I'll move on. Good luck, considering business is always to packed with this location. Makes methink the man power can't handle it because the owner and managers are lazy. Sad to say considering fast food employees are nowat $15 an hour. M.O

I honestly try and give a place the benefit of the doubt, but sometimes, a place is going to be what it is. The breakfast hours each night start at 11PM, so the drive thru is going to be jam packed, no issues there....but you would expect the food to befresh if you're waiting that long. More often than not, the food has been sitting there so long, they're just throwing thingstogether when you order to get the lines down to a manageable pace, so until they have to cook it fresh, you're getting the oldstuff. And if you bring it back in to let them know it's not fresh, it's almost as if you did something wrong when you've paidgood money for a bad product. Some of the workers are friendly, so that's a plus, so be warned if you come here.. Iwould've taken pictures of my food, but judging from the post, you can see why I didn't. Who wants to see old food?
