This was the worst Indian food that we have every tasted. The ingredients were cheap and not used properly, the spices were stale and the Naan was from a jiffy box! Each item that we tried either had no flavor or had the wrong flavor. They are trying to appease the location and the people in the area that do not know any better! This was nasty and a sorry excuse for a buffet.
This place is remarkably good. The buffet allows you to try their entire cuisine and you will be hard pressed to find something that is not good. I have been going here for nearly 20 years when they were at their first location on NW Expy and it is always a special treat to eat here.
This place is a legit authentic hole in the wall Indian food joint. Don't pass this one up if you like to explore foods. I very much enjoyed having a lunch buffet because I got to try so many wonderful dishes I would have never tried otherwise.
Service was extremely good and the atmosphere was very nice. The food was delicious, but I do prefer more flavor and spice. This is an excellent place as a first time trying Indian food or for someone who does not prefer the strength of the unique flavors that some dishes can be prepared with. Overall, very good. I would come back and would not hestitate to bring a friend.
Taj was a fantastic find this evening. Extremely friendly, courteous, & attentive service, and the food was simply divine. Some of the most authentic Indian food I've had in the state. The buffet has many favorites (Chicken Brioni & different Masalas), and a few happy surprises as well (mango custard & a spiced sweet cake). Highly recommended.
