Instead of the brisket that used to be in the beans, we were given what looked and tasted like hot dogs—probably their sausage, which we don’t like at all. The beans were much less enjoyable this way. Honestly, it would have been better to skip the brisket entirely than to have sausage as a substitute. The sausage was tough and unappealing. Additionally, the fried bread, which is usually crispy and light, was very greasy, and the potato salad was more spices than potatoes. To make matters worse, our portions were not even full. The larger sides were about three-quarters full, and the individual portions were roughly two-thirds full—definitely not enough for a single serving. Each individual side cost $4, but we only received a few small bites, making it feel like we were paying $1 per bite. This is just absurd. All of this left us feeling incredibly disappointed. We have been coming to this place for years, and it has always been a favorite of ours. This meal was meant to celebrate my husband’s first big meal after my hospital stay, and its quality only made it more disappointing. If this is the new standard for quality and portion sizes, we will have to look for a new BBQ spot. I wouldn’t even mind the price increases if they maintained the quality and portions we used to enjoy. Based on their past reputation, I’m giving them a 3, but if I were to judge solely based on this experience, they would only get a 1.

The only reason I didn't give this restaurant 4 stars is because of the price—each plate costs $18. I understand that BBQ isn't exactly cheap these days, but the flavor was excellent. The fried okra was a bit overcooked and crunchy; they always prepare it this way, so if you’re not a fan, make sure to let them know beforehand. The staff was very friendly, and the dining area was clean and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it, as long as you're prepared for the price.

I stood in line for almost 10 minutes waiting for service, and despite there being eight people behind the counter, no one attended to me while I was the only person waiting. Not a single staff member acknowledged me or offered a simple greeting, like “Please wait a moment, sir.” There was absolutely no communication or customer service. I had a very disappointing experience and will not be returning!

First timer here at this point. I usually order to go, but decided to eat today. The place is very big. Clean and busy. The staff was friendly, but it was a bit confusing when it served itself or not. They'll wait for you as soon as you sit down. I ordered the Oklahoma plate and an additional page. I love the grill here. It never disappoints. The meat is always so delicate and has a nice taste. Not dry. Just perfect. The sauces and pimples are a wonderful addition to the meat. I didn't like what I ate here. Brisket, sausage, chicken and ribs are a must. The BBQ beans have delicious little sausage bites in it. The potato salad is tasteful and the Cole Slaw is bomb. Only that was, they were from all their coke products when I left. The server said it had been like that for weeks. Be ready. Next time I try the dessert. They have free self serving ice on the front. Try the butter bowls! You are the absolutely best!

A very tasty visit! We had 2 of the veggie plates and each of our 3 veggie choices and roll were excellent! The kid's cheeseburger seemed to be a hit as well. Wish there was a location in 74006!
