Oklahoma Station BBQ - Oklahoma City

Prices have gone up and the quality of food and service have gone way down. Don't waste your time, food is over cooked, burnt and just plain awful. Very disappointing.

Dirty. Went there around 830pm for dinner on a Groupon. Hand written signs tell you what and how to do things. Mac and cheese was great. Turkey was great. Pork loin was ok. BBQ brisket was nasty. Seemed over cooked to me. Weird thing is that to me the meat was dry but when cut with knife it was soft. Cut piece wasn't like a slice of meat but a flaccid slice of open celled meat. Outer seasoned coating of meat was hard and very crusty. Not pleasurable at all. Green beans were very soft and mushy. The real thing that was noticed was after we ate. Great food, horrible service. Just got an order to go and apparently I was disturbing the person who was serving me while he was carrying on a conversation with another employee. I had to repeat myself several times, the credit card receipt was tossed to me and there was no thank you for buying 2 dinners and several side items. Even though the food is very good, I will not be back since it was clear I was not wanted as a customer.

Returning would put my family at risk. OK Station BBQ used to be busy and the food was good. I was surprised to see on a friday night a sparsely occupied dining room. I was greeted by a large hand written sign about paying for the drink size you order and instructions on how to use their groupon correctly. It wasn't long before I realized I was sweating because the AC was not keeping up. As we were eating I began to notice just how dirty the place is. Including: Missing floor tiles, dirty floors, discolored ceiling tiles, filthy base boards and stained cabinet doors. Never Going Back. I will say up front that I've been here about 5 times over the course of 2 years. First couple times weren't bad. Over time, this place has slid into a downward spiral of absolute nastiness. The place is completely rundown and dirty. Makes you nervous about where the food has been. I went there this past week and as soon as I got through the door, I noticed a sheet of paper stuck on the pillar. It said that if you left a positive review on UrbanSpoon, print it, and bring it to show them, you'll get a free drink. By the way, there was a glaring mis-spelling on it.
