As franchises come and go, food quality and profits can blur and stray the best of businesses away from their mission of good food, people, and environment. Jersey Mike's Subs (and most locations in NW OKC) do the opposite - and it's a great thing! This location is clean, staff very friendly, the atmosphere airy and inviting, age appropriate for all (e.g. individuals, families, elders), and most important of all - the sandwiches are fantastic! "But they only make sandwiches! You can get that everywhere!" And this is where I smile, nod, and then shake my head in good ol' vague fashion. So let me clarify - yes and no. Yes, you can get a sandwich anywhere. But no, you will hardly find one of great quality as Jersey Mike's Subs (unless you go to Whole Foods and get their Boar's Head specific sandwiches).... read more

"But they only make sandwiches! You can get that everywhere!" And this is where I smile, nod, and then shake my head in good ol' vague fashion. So let me clarify - yes and no. Yes, you can get a sandwich anywhere. But no, you will hardly find one of great quality as Jersey Mike's Subs (unless you go to Whole Foods and get their Boar's Head specific sandwiches). Their meats, cheese, and vegetables are fresh and bread made in-house. While we normally order a Giant Club Supreme to share, we ordered a Tuna sandwich this time. The tuna was fresh tasting, not overpowered by mayonnaise or seasonings, and did not have a fishy, expired taste to it that some other sandwich shoppes have. We tried this with Mike's Way (a mixture between olive oil and red wine vinegar) and it was delicious. The sandwich was a little messy, but I don't expect to have clean fingers after handling sandwiches either. We still enjoyed our Club Supreme sandwiches more, but that's just us. Also the only reason why I took "1.0" rating off is because the sandwiches are a little pricey, but that cost is for the quality ingredients that you get to eat (still, I decreased the rating because I am a miser when it comes to cost/money, haha). In regards to staff, they were incredibly nice, friendly, helpful, and patient. They served us with a smile and the service was quick. They kept the restaurant very clean (in fact, the moment customers left, one of the staff would power walk with broom and dust pan in hand and clean off everything from the floor, then the table). So overall, everything was great and we will definitely come back again! Food Recommendation: To really taste what Jersey Mike's Subs have to offer, order a Giant Club Supreme with Mike's Way. You can also request for more Mike's Way in a cup to dip your sandwich or soak it. Get messy, have fun, and excite your palette! Tip #1: Before coming in, sign up for their Shore Points Reward program. Just like a stamp card, you get a certain amount of points that is dependent on the size of the sandwich. When you get enough, you get a free sandwich. To sign up, go to their website and click their "Rewards" tab for more info. Tip #2: If you are a Shore Points Reward member and eat on Sundays, you get Double Points. Tip #3: Unless you are allergic to olive oil and red wine vinegar, make sure you have your sandwich Mike's Way, always! Anyways, thanks for reading and hope you have a great time!
