Hibachi Express Sushi - Oklahoma City

As of the time of this review, the restaurant is only offering takeout and not allowing dine-in service (July 2022). The sushi is of good quality, although there is not a wide variety of rolls. The hibachi and teriyaki dishes are consistently delicious. However, the seafood tends to get overcooked when placed in a to-go container, so I do not highly recommend those items. On the other hand, the vegetables, flavors, chicken, and steak always taste great!

This restaurant offers great prices and delicious food. I tried the lunch special and also ordered the cowboy roll, which was fantastic. The chicken was very tasty and came with a salad and miso soup. The miso soup was flavorful, and the homemade house dressing was fresh. The rice had a hint of smokiness, adding to the overall experience. This was my second visit to the restaurant, and I highly recommend trying it before opting for Panda Express or any other Asian food restaurants. While the cowboy roll was delicious, the lunch special offers unbeatable value.

Very good overall meals! The soup tasted like a beef stock with soy sauce and scallions which made it a little salty for my taste and the salad was a simple iceberg lettuce with good dressing. But the hibachi steak was excellent, the vegetables and meat were perfectly cooked with good flavor, also the fried rice was very good quality. The teriyaki chicken was also very flavorful and came with good streamed rice. I like spicy and they threw in a small container of siriracha sauce for me. I'm from out of town and it seems difficult to find good restaurants in this area, so this was a breath of fresh air and I will definitely be back!

So, this is a takeout only place. You have to either call ahead and order or order in the lobby. The food was all really good and cooked/made to order. I cannot complain about the food at all. The service was kind of weird. This is definitely a mom and pop shop, and they have a small child. When I went, the child was toddling around inside the establishment and mom and dad were busy making the food. It was kind of weird but also I cannot blame them for having him there with the price of child care. The only complaint I have is the wait time if you order in the lobby is really high. They apparently have a TON of doordash type orders which honestly bravo for them, but there are only 2 people working so that means you wait. It took nearly 30 minutes to get 3 sushi rolls. Maybe it was a short staff night, so we will be trying again and will revise accordingly.

If you haven't tried this pace, I highly recommend it. Their hibachi and sushi are both delicious and fresh! They have be3n a favorite of ours since I found them while doing deliveries. The wait is less than 20 minutes for your meal.Parking: Plenty of parking spaces.
