Very good selection and nicely prepared. service was friendly and delivered in a reasonable timeframe. Perhaps due to covid, only served the bare sides items. Had to ask for butter and jelly to go on toast and it was delivered forthwith. Biscuits and gravy were very good and eggs in a basket were excellent. Nice mimosas but glasses barely hall full.

As usual, the wait time was incredibly long, but to be expected on new year's day. But to wait that long and have mediocre food...that's not fun. I got the Big Boy Country Breakfast, which is an lol moment ngl. Here's the gist: The steak sirloin that I ordered medium-well was charred and chewy--I could not get a single bite without having to spit half of it out The hash brown casserole was very crusty, which means it was probably old The cinnamon apples had a decent flavor but were very difficult to chew, like they were wrapped in rubber or something The biscuits were okay, but pretty dry and crusty, not warm or soft at all And of course, grits are just unchewable anyway, making the scrambled eggs the easiest to actually eat Away from food, the staff was friendly, and there were lots of items to look at while waiting in the shop. But I cannot recommend the food, as it was McDonald's-level of quality, and thus not worth the price or wait.

On Sunday. I loved the missing one table. much respect! even if this place was filled and busy, we sat in about 15 minutes (we were told 30). the waitress was attentive and eating was delicious! not only lacked because they were busy. for that I was thankful! kudos to all employees for the smooth implementation of the dinge on a busy day!

Warm biscuits to begin, service prompt, coffee brewed, wonderful surroundings! Server didn’t live up to our expectations, every question had a no answer to it, and order to go of our food never came, and the waitress didn’t even ask if she could void the receipt even though we weren’t charged because the order was not put in the first place, and for that she blamed the kitchen!

I wanted to place a to go order, finally got a waiter, placed my food order, he started to walk off, I told him I also needed a drink. I received my food, for my order of biscuits and gravy, I got 4 biscuits and a to go container that was only half full, no condiments other than butter and plasticware.
