Cracker Barrel - Oklahoma City

After two botched visits, in two weeks, something dramatically wrong has happened at Cracker Barrel. Sunny-side up eggs are so easily prepared. One must have intention to mess them up. Sunny-side up with a side of salmonella is what you risk. Send them back for proper cooking, you get a yolk with a quarter inch of white as a remedy, spatula-hacked with unnatural angles. Manager reports "that's how they come" and p"perfectly acceptable." But he was just the 'junior' manager, reports the actual manager, who "is new." So... they put an unqualified, untested person, who lacks the golden rule of customer service understanding, in a position of authority? The manager actually said, " I don't know if you all know anything about cooking..." I contacted corporate. I'll update if they respond.

As usual at Cracker Barrel the food is simple and comforting. Like the Chicken & Dumplings. It's one of those comfort foods. Their lemonade is good as well.
