The menu is limited, featuring a few hot dogs and corn dogs. I had the hot dog, and it was substantial. The corn dogs were short and thick, and they came with some pretty good chips. There is a reasonably sized outdoor seating area, but it was dark inside. This place is located just west of the Hotel Aloft, easily accessible on foot, and there's also a dog park nearby. Many locals were enjoying the space, which is surrounded by several apartment buildings. Overall, I enjoyed my visit. The chips and dip were nice, but they weren’t anything special—just the same chips that came with my meal, so I wouldn’t order them again.
Anchor Down is a charming little eatery that offers a delightful dining experience. Their menu features delicious hot dogs, fries, and a few other tasty options. You'll also find a great selection of beers and cocktails to choose from. For those following a vegan diet, they have excellent choices, including vegan corn dogs and vegan roasted Oreos, along with additional vegan items that may not be listed on their menu or website. If you're curious about any specials they might have, just ask, and they’ll be happy to share what’s available.
This trendy restaurant made from shipping containers offers fantastic food and excellent service! I have two children with allergies, and the staff at the bar were incredibly helpful in informing me about safe menu options for them. I will definitely return the next time I'm in Oklahoma City.
Good food at a good price. Two dogs and a good size part of homemade chips for seven dollars. I burn on burgers and pizza, so this was interesting for me. But you also have burgers if this is your thing or you have a corn dog guard in your group. Good lunch. Cool atmosphere and friendly service. I recommend the rye old-fashioned if you are looking for a cocktail. Lost Ogle trivia on Thursday.
I am always happy to find vegan options when I visit Oklahoma City, and Anchor Down didn’t disappoint. The corn dogs (made with Field Roast Frankfurters) were delicious. The meal was very affordable, too! I wish they’d had French fries instead of chips, though. The atmosphere is funky and cool but service was a little spotty.
