Weissgerber's Golden Mast Inn

The Golden Mast especially for their German dishes. I grew up with German grandparents and loved German food. I tried the German stationery and it was excellent! In fact, the other 4 people I also carved about their food with everyone. Great food, drinks, atmosphere and staff. Gold Mast is a winner!

We ordered a variety of fish dishes and everything was delicious! The ambiance was lovely at first, but unfortunately, the service was not up to par. We had to ask our server for everything. That’s why we rated it only four stars.

The food here is fantastic, and the staff is consistently friendly. The building is lovely, and it offers a wonderful view of the lake outside.

Been here a few times for dinner. Unique, old school ambience on the lake are the selling points, but also more expensive than the food/service warrants because of the location. Good to great food, but is inconsistent. Once I had a shrimp pasta that was excellent. Another time tried surf and turf with lamb and crab legs, which were ok, but not great. Lamb was a bit gamy and small. Crab legs were a bit dry. My wife’s filet was excellent. Good to great drinks were also inconsistent. Service is inconsistent. We had a great server one time, but the last time we went, our server was short and rushing around all night. She came across as impatient when we asked questions about the menu. Overall, still 4 stars because it’s a unique place to go on special occasions.
