It was moist and had really deep, rich aromas. Very romantic place, but I could also go with a small group. We had a nice table, surrounded by bamboo and leaf. A beautiful place. Excellent menu.
Nice location. So picturesque. Not a single table that's not in a nice spot. There is a beautiful Koi pond and you can go around the restaurant and look at the gardens. Dinner service is $60 for 3 choices of appetizer, soup/salad, duck and dessert. We had the Brussels sprouts and the blue cheese salad. The octopus was amazing. The pig bell and fillet was also delicious. We didn't try the desserts.
Servers were great. Attention to lamp settings and so on. Eating was old and good. Price Fixe menu really reasonable at $85 for 3 courses and about $100 for 5. A cocktail that was perfect. The ambience is wonderful. There are seats in the indoor and outdoor areas. We decided outside. Great mood. The landscape with water is pleasant. There were families and larger groups, although this was a great place for an intimate dinner for two. So glad we could finally try it.
Love this place. Welcoming staff, fantastic location sitting among the sculptures, fountains, plants it's like a hidden cove. The food is wonderful. They have a prix fixe menu but it does change even though a few standbys that are always available. There is always a slant to what could be an ordinary meal an extra light sauce on the side or dripped over the top that gives their food a beautiful presentation but more importantly taste.
Every plate that came out was better than the last. The garden was a fairytale. We will be back to try their Wednesday night live music and happy hour!
