Kaj Mestono - Ohrid

We had lunch here 2 days in a row. Waiters are very polite and friendly. Serving size is average but food is tasty and well prepared with low prices. Place to sit is easy to find, there is no reservation needed but is possible. It is only restaurant in Pestani located on lake side of the road with perfect view.

Nice restaurant on the Lake Ohrid shore with a stunning view . We got there in an sunday afternoon was pretty busy but we got a table right away. We ordered some appetizers first and they were delicious. We tried some local beers and after a traditional rakija. We tried two of the local fish and they were delicious . This restaurant is a must stop if you are around Lake Ohrid.

I have to say that our breakfast at "Kaj mestono" was extremely disappointing. The food was a big disappointment - it was cold, bland, and unappetizing. It seemed like no effort was put into preparing it, and it definitely did not meet the expectations set by the menu. The service was just as bad. It took a long time for our orders to be taken, and the wait for our food was painfully long. The staff seemed disorganized and rude. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend "Kaj mestono" to others.

The fish dishes at this restaurant are fantastic, as well as the delicious bread with garlic dip. They also serve two types of chips as side dishes. The salads are fresh and tasty. To top it off, they surprised us with complimentary cheesecake and coffee at the end of our meal. While it may be a bit on the expensive side, every penny is worth it.

The only thing worth coming here for is the view of Lake Ohrid. Unfortunately, the food is nothing special. Many items on the menu were unavailable, the portions were small and not worth the price. Overall, I was very disappointed.
