I opted for a zatar munooshi and received a fluffy flatbread with a tasty mix of sesame seeds, thyme and other spices. The flat bread with fillings were stuffed to overflowing for less than $10 they are great value. I also tried a kiby lamb mince, cracked wheat and spices which comes with sauce and cucumber. Delicious!
The cafe aims at excellence. It provides good value for money using fresh produce, ample servings and the staff are kind and have a sense of service. I eat there often and my experience is consistently good. Well done to good service and delicious food.Steve
Located on East Terrace, this small cafe was part of the Feast On Foot tour. <br/ <br/ The service is lovely and the staff are so warm as well. <br/ <br/ We got to sample a few delights! We had kiby, vine leaves, and munooshi as well some dips. The kiby was wonderful and crunchy. The vine leaves with its rice filling was lovely too. The munooshi I could see being made fresh in the rolling oven so was nice and fresh when we got it. Simple fillings but very tasty.
This place is great for a nice quick weekend brunch or a weekday lunch. My favourites are the cheese zaatar munooshi, cheese honey munooshi, and kiby munooshi.
A wonderful little surprise on East Terrace! The food is simple and very authentic. They also offer a small selection of delicious freshly squeezed juices. The ladies serving are very pleasant and friendly. Highly recommended. Can't wait to come back and savour a few more dishes!
