At first glance, the place is quite unassuming, but because it was late we decided to give it a go anyway. We headed in one night and ordered the ‘Small Pot Noodles’ and some pork dumplings in soup to share. The prices were quite reasonable and the food was warm and filling we were both very satisfied with our meal.<br/ <br/ We were surprised that Happy Bowl had a Zomato rating of 2.8 and as such, decided to try it one more time before writing our review. This time, we ordered steamed pork dumplings and the ‘Three Fresh Noodles’ with pork mince, fried tofu and spinach. Again, the food was tasty and we were happy with our choice. <br/ <br/ It’s not the fanciest place in town but the food will leave you full and warm inside.
Tried to go to a dumpling place but it was closed then ended up going to the restaurant. That was the best experience ever. The noodle and the broth were so good. It was spicy and good for the cold weather. The chicken was so yummy and it was perfect! Must try this!
Just some o the best food I've had at any price. Saturday lunch for 2 $29.10. Chef's Wheat Noodles See photos. Just delicious. Just spicy enough Dumplings in Chicken soup. So fresh!
Very tasty, traditional southwest “dian” cuisine. I have never tried anything like this in Australia previously. The owner is very fussy about the quality of the food she chose and cook. Tasty and yet full of nutrient goodies. Highly recommend
The service was really good and the young lady at the counter was sweet as well. I didn't have to wait for long since it was a Monday but usually during peak hours you'll have a wait for a long time. Food was pretty good, have a similar taste to home but something was a bit lacking, couldn't exactly pin point it. Serving sizes are a little bigger than expected especially the hotpots, so if you don't really want much, you can share between two.
