Ohakune Tavern

Good cold beer, large selection of wine and friendly service. I visited the Ohakune Tavern a number of times in the week I spent in Ohakune and will be sure to visit next time I am in town.

Girls weekend away and we found the tavern, the bar staff were amazing. Cookie had the cocktails on point and the food was perfect. Live music and the atmosphere was great highly recommend the tavern for a great night out. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other

We ended up at the tavern as we were not able to get a table at any of the nearby restaurants. A classic pub, with decent pub meals at a reasonable price compared to the surrounding restaurants. The lady behind the bar was lovely with our kids and brought out some colouring in activities for them.

Thanks Chef, that was a great well done steak. Good staff. The meal wait time can be improved. Spacious and family friendly space.
