What a hidden gem. Took a group for breakfast, we were seated right away, had prompt and friendly service, and the breakfast food was big portions for the price. Can't wait to try their lunch menu next.

My mom and I were trying to meet up for a dinner and looking for somewhere lowkey. I hadn't been to this restaurant for YEARS but remembered it being good food. When we arrived the parking lot was crazy. Inside they said 10mins or so for a table of 2 (there were multiple large parties ahead of us). They ended up seating us in less than 5 mins! I had a few ideas from the menu but was torn on what to order. I asked a recommendation from the server and they advised the all you can eat catfish is a top seller SOLD! You get 2 sides with that and I chose mashed potatoes and green beans. The dinner was very good, though I will say the catfish was good but not the best I've had. My mom liked it better than I did. My mom got the shrimp platter (which I tried too) and it was very tasty. She really enjoyed it. Service was top notch! It took a while for the food to come out after we ordered but the server kept us updated and let us know what to expect. Kudos as well that as soon as my catfish was delivered (3 large pieces) she immediately asked if I may like a refill as it would take a bit to cook. I said yes and she offered for me to choose how many pieces. That was an awesome process! Everyone I interacted with here was friendly and helpful. I only saw a few servers working the area we were in, but they were all hustling to make sure everyone was taken care of. Note that JJ's has multiple large banquet rooms as well. I'm not sure how you reserve (or maybe rent) one but I have attended an event in one before and it was nice.

In the mood for a filling lunch, stop in at JJ's Restaurant. When in the area we drop by. Today our server was Chris and she was outstanding. We ordered our favorites--nachos. I had the beef. Hubby had the barbecue. Atmosphere is retro. Staff friendly. Food tasty and plentiful. I alway need a takeout box. Prices are reasonable.

Love the ribs and it was the best place ever i will always consider going there you should check it out really really good service too love how it's a family business too
