My wife ordered a sandwich and I ordered a pizza. I like to always order a pizza when I try a new place, just my thing. Both were tasty, and left us satisfied. One plus is the crinkle fries. Hard to find and by far the best fries out there. We started talking to some locals who were super friendly , the type of people that made us wish this was our local bar. The bartender was nice and attentive. We will be back
Average. This is going to be your average neighborhood sport bar. It is a low key spot for you to grab a beer with your friends. Or, some well cocktails, do not expect them to build you a craft margarita. Not a knock on Bleachers, just not their forte. This is a spot where you see a lot of locals. Which, in some cases can be good, in others? Bad. The verdict Bleacher's? Still out. Same thing with the food. You will get your traditional dive bar food. The buffalo wings have good flavor, but were a bit dry, and could have used more buffalo sauce. I thought the buffalo sauce was good. Tangy, and buttery with that quintessential buffalo sauce spice that is not over powering, but just hot enough for you to feel it. I did, however, thoroughly enjoy their tavern style pizza. That crispy, charred crust was fantastic. The pepperonis were greasy, but not so much that the pizza was soggy. It was fantastic, in my opinion. On the other hand, the deluxe pizza could have been cooked a bit longer. However, I think the deluxe is a bit harder to get right in terms of bake time with so many ingredients. The bacon was starting to blacken but the cheese hadn't started bubbling. Nonetheless, if you are on O'fallon and looking for a neighborhood sports bar you can count on to serve you some brews and digs then you can count on Bleacher's. You won't be blown away by the freshness or the flavor. But, at the end of the day, sometimes we just need a reliable spot to grab a decent slice, and watch the Cardinals. Well, Bleacher's has your back
We tried to go here based on a recommendation. We looked at menu on line and got excited to try the wings, steak sandwich and fried potato salad and have a few drinks. We were told there was a patio. We walked in didn't see where a patio would be. Sat at the bar waited 10 minutes no one made eye contact or acknowledged us. They were not very busy. We saw a waitress go in and out what we thought was the emergency exit to see a glimpse of the patio looked like people were mainly smoking out there standing around. We left went to the Irish Gypsy. Maybe the owners care about these reviews maybe they don't. We were looking for a good neighborhood bar and restaurant I guess we found one at the gypsy. Only got one star because I had to to post the review it should be negative star though.
Tried to have dinner here last night but the music was too loud and a patron that seemed to work there was being extremely loud and screaming the entire time we were there. She kept going behind the bar then returning to a table near us while yelling for no apparent reason. The food was par for the course and our server, while attentive, was stretched way too thin as she had the entire bar and restaurant to cover. If you like having your eardrums blown out this is your place!
Love the bartender Laura but the prices at this corner bar are horrible had no happy hour special on food so if your cool with a 80 dollar bill for wing and beer rock on other than bartender place sucks
