Had a great time trying out stuff from the menu without knowing anything about the place or the concept of smörgåstårta! When my noviceness became apparent to the staff they invited me to try out a few samples and explained that it's apparently very common among swedes to have smörgåstårta on various festive occasions. My hands down favorite was the Classic. Great cheesecake too!
If you’re travelling to, or through Ornskoldsvik, by god, don’t miss ”Vardagslyx in O-vik!! What a staff, food that makes you cry of happiness!! If this is Sweden, i’ll sure will be moving here!
Great quality smörgåstårta to a good price. I’ve tried three different types some are more classic and some are more innovative so it’s great for both traditionalists and foodies craving a new experience. Looking forward to having this concept in other cities in the future!
This small and cozy restaurant offers a unique menu and excellent service. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Vardagslyx! The five of us tried different Smörgåstårtebakelser and they were all above our expectations. Each bakelse is very filling, so you don't have to worry about leaving hungry (you might even need a doggy bag!). We also indulged in their homemade ice cream and cheesecakes, and all we can say is WOW! Whether you're a local, a visitor, or just passing through Örnsköldsvik, make sure to stop by this restaurant.
