Det Gode Brod - Odense

If I lived near this place, I would go here every day and get my whole broth from here. they are so sweet, the mood is pleasant and the broth tasty.

I've been living in odense for several years, and I haven't found any better brot than in this bakery. Sure, it's more expensive than regular bakery, but considering that it's organic and biodynamic, I'm happy to pay a little extra. they do not use industrial ovens, but have 9 regular ovens, like the ones they have at home. this is also the reason why you brot does not taste like other bakeries; that tastes and feels homemade. like something your grandmother would bake. most of their brot is vegan and they also have a vegan brownie. personally, I would recommend her rosemary bread and spinach bread, it is the best ever. the owners are also so sweet people. The woman has been vegan/vegetarian for 40 years and is very friendly.

If I ever need broth, I'll buy it here. they have amazing vegan options and it is very tasty. You have to come early, because if you come at 2 o'clock, everything will be sold. it is placed in centrum.

I had read about this place on happycow, and stopped in on a past trip to Denmark. Here's my Det Gode Brod review. This little bakery uses organic and biodynamic ingredients. Has a good selection whole grain breads and a few vegan-friendly pastries. Friendly woman working. Good vibes.
