There were some great options for vegetarian, but almost everything had a lot of cheese or aioli, so hard to convert into totally vegan. a note that the beet soup salat has a fig vinegar vinegar vinegar eggrette that indicates that the waitress told me is not vegan ... it actually has bark in it! so good memory to ask and not accept!

The options for vegans are very limited, but the beet butternut squash salad was exceptional. the personal was insulting and eager to please.

I love the fact that there is a restaurant in ocracoke that not only offers vegan options, but also proudly used the word vegan in the description. I just wish they were a bit tastier. You could say that the whole thing was there deliberately, but it was just not for me. it needed a little spicy. I should have asked for salsa, although they were not this type of tacos. whatever, a for effort. the old bay chips were very tasty, tho. otherwise, great setting. beautiful terrace. also had a grilled sweet salad that looked delicious. did not ask if one of the desserts (homemade) were vegan.
