San Jose's Original Mexican - Ocoee

The menu is somewhat limited, but it offers a nice variety of Tex Mex flavors. Our server, Jalexis, was attentive and friendly, frequently checking in on us and answering all our questions, which made our meal even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, made to order with quality ingredients. The portions were generous, and each entrée came with sides and tortillas. The Tinga Poblana could have used a bit more chipotle flavor, but it was still good. We ordered the Sangria (breakfast-style with full fruits, red), Queso Fundido, a Sopa de Pollo bowl (served with rice), Ensalada de Nopal (a really tasty cactus salad), and the Beef Tinga Poblana. I've known about San Jose for years but never made the trip for some reason. We will definitely be back and might try their other locations as well.

One suggestion might be to offer low-carb flour tortillas as an option for those who are watching their carb intake—that could set them apart from other places. I’ve attached some pictures of our meal, and I’d love to hear your thoughts if you’ve had a different experience.

The fajitas were fantastic, and the margaritas were delicious. Our server was attentive and quick on her feet. The service was prompt, and the portion sizes were generous. We left more than satisfied and will definitely return.

I think our waiter had a bad day? that we all have not to blame. But then the food. That was the icing on the cake. I had better Fajitas from a Taco Cabana. Steak was tasteless and bland. The tortillas must be mission brand or similar. My toddler chicken nuggets were the best part of our dinner.

Good customer service. My favorite thing was the chips and salsa and strawberry. My food was okay I feel like it was missing spices for a Mexican restaurant just my honest opinion. I definitely would come back try something else.
