I had the brown stewfish with rice peas, corn and stemmed cabbage. The rice, pea cauliflower was delish, I was curious about the fish, it was not fresh, the taste was super fishy versus freshly prepared, the fish had to be a day old. Super disappointed!
I'm sorry, but this place is not so good (it's moderate) despite busy. The travel beans do not contain traditional heirs, but are kidney beans (not traditional Jamaican, to my understanding). The jerk sauce lacks any depth of taste has no indication of heat, whatever. The (jerk) chicken must be baked bc the skin is soft it basically also has no taste. Since the sauce is weak, it does not do much to save the chicken meat. The sweet curtains are good, so there's one thing I enjoyed. I prefer the cabbage salad cold, not as hot side (bc, again it had zero taste). I'm glad we tried this place, but I can say I wouldn't go back. I honestly do not know why people think this is good, Jamaican style eating it is not even close. To the less than ideal experience, it is loud here the people who serve the food do not help to hear the males, they do not speak at all. My husband had the brown one-pot chicken he liked, so my 3 stars reflect his opinion in combination with me. Sorry, no pictures.
Great flavors and wonderful portion quantity. This is a small and it is a lot of food, but very worth the price. Customer service is always great! definitely recommend!!!
I am a regular at this restaurant. I usually go for the lunch special Jerk Chicken. The staff are very friendly and food is delicious. The line gets long during peak lunch hours but that?s a great sign. Definitely stop by if you?re looking for authentic Jamaican food in Ocoee/Orlando
