Hunter Steakhouse - Oceanside

It all began to see them on the street market to shoot it for our big party! phone ahead to make a reservation and without complaining, greeted with friendliness trinity took our name for 13 to dinner. sam rose to this occasion and was our server that took up my family with every corner and cracked. the food was ordered and was delicious! accompanied by chris, the duo has beaten our experience from the park! that is said, maybe a little music in the dining room would help the ambiente, maybe there was a tech problem. otherwise, great night!

Room B is musty and smells look old restaurant. On our way out I could smell the restroom. The place is just old. Food is good though.

Great place for an outing with friends and family. Casual, unique, and good food. Go there when hungry. Portions are generous.

A birthday party. that was delicious. my son said the best nativity he ever had. the waitress was super, friendly and very attentive and on the dingen. one of the best waitresses we've ever had. highly recommended and we will definitely come back. Thank you.

To be fair, I didn't sit in the main dining room because I didn't make a reservation in time. Instead, I decided to sit in the bar area, in the ground floor of the main kitchen. the bar room had tables too. the barroom was dark and laboriously smelling and needs a serious makeover. I know it's been there for decades, but must it smell like that?! Anyway, I ordered the porterhouse steak (medium rare) with crispy wobble rings. the scoring rings were anything but crispy. I ate a wobble ring and oil came out of the broth. it wasn't crispy. the porterhouse was another farewell. it had no taste at all. the steak was blanden, tasteless and tricky. I couldn't finish it so I took it home for my dogs. I thought it might have been a fuke, maybe the regular cook wasn't there, but I won't spend this kind of money again to find out. I recommend that they stay clear from this restaurant.
