Felix's BBQ with Soul - Oceanside

Five stars with Soul. First guest on October Saturday afternoon. A friendly voice greeted me. The lady invited me to sit. Not familiar with the menu, I just ordered a lunch box specifically from fried catfish, fries and Koleslaw. Two fresh hot biscuits also came to dinner. My drink was only ice water with a lemon. It was a nice, simple lunch. All were friendly and attentive. Usually I would check the toilet room, but I didn't have to go this time. Overall the restaurant looked very clean. The plates and cutlery were good. No chipboards!!! It was a nice atmosphere for a lonely like me. I'll be back. Don't go without some big cookies. Five stars with Soul?.

Nice little restaurant. Veggie Omelette was very delicious. Not boiled. I could try the vegetables. Restrooms could be gender-neutral, not a urinal. Women's relaxation room could use a remodel or DC. Detection of a previous flood. Laminate was blown and torn. The toilet seat was attached to love life, not falling in when you risk it. Please stay seated ed for the whole ride! The chairs are a great idea in the toilets, only get those who are more sanitary and can treat the toilets that material is scavenging. Maybe just change the fabric and put rubber tips on the legs of footings for occasional toilet accidents. Apart from that, everything was great! Try lunch or dinner, loved all tastes!

The employees are very kind and attentive. However the cleanliness of the restaurant and the quality of food made me regret choosing to go to Felix's instead of my usual place next door. Issues: Ordered coffee and they didn't have regular creamer, they only have French vanilla. We asked for sugar because the sugar tray was filled with empty packets of opened sugar. Both of our coffee cups were extremely dirty. I ordered the fried Chicken and waffles because that is one of my favorite Southern meals and it was lacking flavor. We also ordered the salmon croquet and it was horrible as it was extremely dry, overcooked, and not fresh salmon. The cleanliness of the facility bothered me most. The floor is sticky and oily. Everything is covered in dirt or grease. Honestly if the food was spectacular the cleanliness would have bothered me less.

Delicious! They will not starve home, parts are on the larger side. Loved the southern roasted chicken sandwich with baked beans side the sandwich does not come with a saw, so pour the baked beans on top trust me that you will not regret it except you wear white). Corn bread and braided cabbage are so good! Many parking spaces. Family friendly place. Patio seating available.

There was a handful of time. Mostly, it was a pick-up job. That was the second time I ever got in. The first time they opened first. Today the food was exceptionally good. I ordered the brisket with a side of herb and cabbage. The brisket was tender, juicy and not excessively drunk. The greens and cabbages were beautifully spiced. The cabbage had a sweet buttery taste and it had a bit of a crisp (what I prefer). The staff was friendly and attentive. They offered a good service. The only negative was that the lighting could be a tad brighter, especially for tables near the back (from the bathrooms). Otherwise this was a very pleasant experience.
