Coastal Cafe - Ocean Park

Good food and prices. We have breakfast there every time we head to the beach.

As a parent to small children, they get extra stars simply for having this area for families! Also the food is delicious! We loved it. When you're a parent, having something to entertain the kids while you're trying to get a bite eat is sooo welcomed. I appreciate that they are so thoughtful with this part of the restaurant. Also, their cook is trying to raise money for her mother to get a knee replacement. I thought I'd put this out there so the public knows : Kid-friendliness: Excellent! They have a family area with toys for kids to play with while parents eat.

We used to go to Anita's coastal cafe for years. Excellent breakfasts and lunches. We have been disappointed since new owners took over. Hash brownS tasted like they were cooked with butter before, now it tastes like bad oil. Could not recommend to people under new ownership unless the bring back the excellent food they used to have.

We try to support the local diners in ocean park but nights like tonight really make it hard to want to go back. When we pull into the front door at 7:23 and the wait staff turns the sign to closed as she looks directly at the 5 of us then moves on….. we won’t be back. They food here was great and we recommend it to everyone but to have the doors closed in our faces is unacceptable. We will make sure to tell those same people of our experience tonight.

Ordering time was extremely long. Never received our coffees after mentioning it twice. 2 of the orders were inaccurate to what we ordered, .Not the best experience we'll skip next time.
