The hostess was rude upon arrival, told us the wait was 35mins. ummmm OK, no big deal. We were a party of 5 and were seated right at the front door entrance, 1 small table for 3 adults and 2 teens… this was the 2nd message that you obviously prefer patrons to take out their food instead of dine in.. We had to ask to be seated at a larger table that was better suited for a party of 5. The food was fine, not exceptional, we were never offered drink refills and you charged $4 for a side salad even though the menu price is $3. Message to the staff, you never know who’s eating in the restaurant so put a smile on your face and bring out your customer service skills whether you want to be there or not. To the owners, if you do not want to be an actual dine in restaurant then don’t. You don’t have enough room for people to eat inside and feel comfort anyway!!
Salad and pizza were fine. Leaving a 2-star review because the chicken piccata with crab meat cost $31 and had one small piece of crab. I understand there’s been inflation but if it costs them too much to give an actual serving of crab meat in this dish they just shouldn’t offer it. I paid $31 for 2 bland chicken cutlets with some button mushrooms and a few pieces of asparagus.
This is undoubtedly one of the best pizzas I ever had. Thin crust. They use a wood fired oven, which is much better than coal fired (gets too hot and burns the crust). The toppings on the Piccini Special were excellent. Be ready for a big crowd at the dinner hour; best to go either before or after. And the waitress gave us a recommendation for a mechanic in the area to get my flat fixed.
The pizza wasn't bad, but it could've had more zip in the way of Italian seasonings. Crust was a little bland, but the crispiness was nice. Caesar salads were nice and fresh. Staff was very friendly and the service was very good. Overall, it wasn't bad, but we still prefer the atmosphere of Lonbardi's in Ocean City MD
Yummy Margherita Pizza and the waitress was very attentive and friendly
