Dinner 9/3/22 Expect to pay higher prices. Service was good. 1/2 dozen Maryland steamed crabs were light and taste could be better. 2 of 6 crabs were soft and should not be served. Alaskan snow crab legs were good. About $50 per person. Glad I experienced it once, but most likely I will not return.
Great little find. Family owned. The crabs were spiced well and HEAVY! If you are on the hunt for real authentic MD blue crabs, this is your place. Excellent service, fantastic prices, from this world crabs!
All I can say is WOW! The food was so good that we came 2 times in less than a week while we were on holiday. This place is super casual and no hairs, but the seafood is fresh and the chef and seasoning is on site. When we first came, we ordered a pound of steamed shrimp, perfectly cooked and seasoned for perfection. Half a dozen crabs that the server was friendly enough to give us a tutorial how to crack, was sweet, fresh and tasty. The ratio of the wort was perfect with melted butter. Some hush puppies, I'm told they were good, but no tons of fresh corn and steamed corn had what was good. The second time we came, we got more crabs and tried the crabcake sandwich, no bread. We found it interesting that many places down here served crab cake as a sandwich instead of on your own. The crabs were again fantastic and just like before. The crab cake had good quality crab but it was small and there was not much to it. It was basically a small crumb, not much spice or bread crumbs. Strange that it does not even blow up much / some old bay. If we had known, we would have got shrimp instead. The crab cake came with a tiny side of Mac and cheese. It was delicious and very creamy. But for $25, the crab cakes and Mac and cheese were like a little snack. You could have had a bigger side. But all in all a great experience and by far the best food of our journey! If you're in the area, this is the place to go.
Simple unpretentious crab house, which is exactly what we wanted. We got there late and they only had the small Maryland blue crabs, but boy were they good! The sides were fabulous. Loved the Mac and cheese. And the corn on the cob was tender and sweet. Add a pitcher of Modelo for $20, and it was a fine meal indeed.
