We typically get chips, bratkartoffels and salat. We've been here in the last two years. Ladies under the staff are friendly. Men don't wait personnel. Food and drinks are great.
Very friendly service, and some amazing German cuisine. Shown without reservation, no problem at all. English menus for non-German speaking people. Overall, very satisfied with the experience.
We stayed at the adjoining campsite for 8 nights and ate in this restaurant on four occasions. English speakers will be pleased to know that the staff speak good English Much better than my German! and there is an English Menu available although for some reason the desserts have not been translated. The restaurant has several parts The stylish main dining area and outside patio are really nice with the bar area and a centre area not quite as inviting. Access for disabled people via the bar is flat although there is a rise from the camping field. The guest were largely campers but we noticed a lot of vistors from the area especially at weekends. Booking is required Friday to Sunday. Guests are offered two menus One for Pizza which we didn't have but looked very nice and the other is for a normal restaurant menu which reflects the region. The stars are the regional dishes which were really good and reasonably prices at 12 14 Euros. Wine is available by bottle or carafe. We had the local white wine dry, medium or sweet which cost 3 euro for a 0.2 l carafe and was excellent. A variety of beers were available although predominantly the excellent local bear Bitburger. The restaurant was so good that we didn't bother trying anywhere else for our evening meal and will be returning to the campsite and the restaurant.
Here you get the best steaks ask for the kuechenmeister and delicious food. The service is very good, friendly and you have to order a Erdinger Weizen!
