Zur Linde - Oberursel (Taunus)

The restaurant Zur Linde is a good place to meet friends. In sommer you can sit in a garden with a big linden tree. The food is very good and staff is friendly.

At first we almost missed this place as ist is quite hidden in the back of a tiny street. I met old friends there and we had a great time. Food ist excellent, service was good. From the inside it looks like an old barn...with tools and a huge plow (i was not sure what it was) hanging from the ceiling.

We were a total of 14 family members, met for the first time for dinner in to the linden. parking can be tricky as the place is in a residential area, so they might have to drive around a bit. table was reserved in advance, since. they can imagine for 14 people, waiter possibly the owner? us on our table shown and began with the first of a few drinks orders. they have a really good menu, but I'm sorry to say it's not in English with their website. if I remember correctly, we had thirteen different main courses and a veggie. we had to go to the next room to salatbar to help us. it was busy in other parts of the restaurants so we had to wait while about 40mins, which is understandable before our main thing started being served because they were all ready at the same time with taking the veggie meal. eating was delicious, well spiced and good portions for some of us a bit about filling really good value for money though. we have occupied our waiter with other orders for drinks, coffee and various desserts. the restaurant makes specials on dos, weds thurs, they are open at the weekend, but closed on Monday. they have also made their own home apple wine and four different designs beer what they want.

I lived in the Upper Island part of Weisskirchen, where to the linde. I've been away for 25 years, but I found myself where I saw old friends. we went to the linden, which was a downstairs building, as the title says. it was complete. newly built and is now a great full-service restaurant with taunus and Hessian-Tarife. very reasonable and great service by the owner himself (he waits the tables). only wonderful. So if you find yourself in frankfurt, they drive the 12 km and give it a try.

Visit them Germany with my wife, we were invited to dinner last minute. the group already had a reservation number (which we were not included). I was worried it was a problem when you showed up. we arrived in front of the group and spoke only English. a problem. try to explain that we wanted to be at the party, but had no reservation was difficult. Finally, one of the groups that both spoke and everything was sorted quickly became apparent. this was a Wednesday night and the restaurant filled out quickly! they had a special on carving that was a fantastic price and one of the best meal I had eaten while in Germany! 7EU for carving, kartoffel and a small salatable. the carving could be ordered a dozen different types and the plate filled. the hof was beautiful with a large tree that creates a soon-a-chin under which you can sit. everything was very clean and clean.
