Apostel - Oberstaufen

Delicious food! This was our favorite place when visiting top baptism. The cheese parrot should die! My partner really enjoyed his meat dish, he said the sauce was really good. Service was nice and attentive. I would recommend to give this place an attempt

It took 30 minutes to get a menu and the waitress didn't even apologize. Other customers were finished after the table was finished. We decided to leave without order.

What a great bar and restaurant. OK it's not fine dining but husband had one of the ugliest but tastiest meals ..in his words. Potatoes baked with black pudding and sauerkraut. Atmosphere was great, being a bank holiday everybody was in..shall we say high spirits. Wine was mediocre and over 4€ for a bottle of water is a bit steep. But a nice time.

We joined the restaurant on a Saturday evening with a bunch of people. The location is furnished with a very traditional and rustic Bavarian style. So far so good. Now to the food, it was looking nice but the taste was below average and the quality wasn't the best. The prices varies from 12-21€ and for a beer 3,50€ Weizen. The service was short worded and rough.

Rustic and traditional place with typical dishes. Big portions, but nothing funny. Meat was good, sauce cost artificial and not homemade. Payment by credit card wasn't possible, was it?? We had to find a bank to withdraw money, unacceptable in 2019.
