Zahringer Hof - Oberried

It was a really nice dinner. well cooked. jus die suppe on the forging....was with bone marrow (knochenmark). I didn't like it, and the taste was not really good. this suppe had not the same level of fish that was perfectly well cooked. I had to wait an hour until our food arrives. they should work better their organization. the waitress was not nice. a little dach.

We had dinner two times during our stay at the same place. it was easy to eat the best we had on our trip to Germany. the presentation was exceptional, atmosphere covered with view of the dying. I could go on and on. about the tireless service we received, but it was over the way the local products such as brain and trout were served in the evening meal. try the game meat and local river trout when on the menu. all in all a more satisfied visit is what they are insured when they visit the zahringer!

You'll like it! here on a walk through the scenery with the swinger who lives in Freiburg. it was promised as a good place to eat lunch, halfway and so it proved. it is possible to reach it on the road, but it is literally at the end of a road to nowhere, so much luck if they do not have local knowledge. but if they do, in any case, they should be rewarded with good means of life, we were sure. the vegetarian had an salat as an appetizer and then served a mushroom dish with a potato pancake. another member of the party had another mushroom shell and both reported it as very good. also the two of us who had wild dishes were satisfied. my hazelnut link with cabbage and noodles was absolutely excellent. there is a beautiful view from the dining room and the service was good. it is not a cheaper place to lunch my court was 25 euro and it broke easy that water was 3,20 a litre when we had to continue our walk, unfortunately we did not make a sample. it is certainly a restaurant that we would like to return to.

We had dinner on two occasions during our stay at the same place. It was easily the best food we had on our trip to Germany. The presentation was exceptional, atmosphere laid back with a view to die for. I could go on and on...about the stupendous service we received but it was outdone by the way the local produce like deer and trout were inculcated in the dinner served to us. Do try the game meat and local river trout if available on the menu. All in all one satisfied visit is what you are assured of when you visit the Zahringer !!!
