We had inquired at the Stadthotel Lichtenfels for an inn with good-bourgeois cuisine, and the lion was recommended. A really great recommendation! We have eaten there very well and have been there again the next night. Food, drink and service can only be evaluated with at least 5 stars. A place for over 100 years in family possession, and an extremely sympathetic host. Once again : INFACH GROßARTIG Hopefully another 100 years.

Were there a few years ago and were always super satisfied. I ate a roach there on Sunday and was a bit disappointed. Too much cucumber, the whole Roulade has really tasted sourcing, the side salad was not really good either. Hard carrots and not really deliciously tasted throughout. Shame! Try it soon with other dishes, such as Schnitzel or Steak. Let's see...
