Falstaff - Oberhausen

If someone ever earned 5 stars, then the good Falstaff. We celebrated our wedding day there and it was absolutely top! It couldn't have been better. A super nice boss, great ambience, friendly team and a meal that does not have to hide from Austrian cuisine. There was a small appetizer, a drink, beautiful table decoration (for our wedding day) and on the potato salad there was even a heart on it “selected”. A great idea. Look at the pictures of me, then you'll see why I'm so excited. We can highly recommend the calf carving! It was tender, fresh and well stuffed, and warm potato salad is served with cucumber slices. This also tasted very good. And now the knight's stroke comes: the Kaiserschmarn... I didn't eat such a good Kaiserschmarn in my life. Not even in Austria. Only absolute WOW! Fresh, crispy, loose, fluffy, fine flavor to butter, rich in fruits and plums. We'll be back! This is completely out of question!

I am very positively surprised! Falstaff meets Sissi and Franz is worth a meal visit (of course also a drink visit. Oberhausen needs such a gastronomy. Austrian cuisine, but not only. I ate the burger who was a gourmet! Really great and in my opinion not too expensive for quality. The carving of my accompaniment was also delicious. If you are looking for a snack, you can go to the next Pommesbude, but this place is really something special. Bravo! Next and soon

Delicious schnitzel! Friendly and competent service. Location with charm, right at Theater Oberhausen. An enrichment for gastronomy in OB. We like to come back!

If you want to go to the Falstaff on a Saturday night, you should be reserved and have time. Although we only got a standing table, the place was enough to eat. Important, the table hadn't tasted. The service was very nice and friendly. The selection of dishes was appealing and completely sufficient.What we had eaten was recommended. Almost every guest at the restaurant had eaten. We'll be back. A minus from my point of view, the salad should have been carried under a heading of appetizer. Was a little but very tasty. The Kaiserschnitzel was great. We'll be back.
