Kerrera Tea Garden Bunkhouse - Oban

Karrera has truly impressed us! The walk to this gorgeous spot is definitely worthwhile. The owner is incredibly friendly. We tried the bagel with brie and chili jam, and of course, we couldn't resist sampling every cake! We sat outside in the sun, enjoying the fantastic view. The castle is just around the corner.

I highly recommend taking the 5-minute ferry ride from Oban to Kerrera, followed by a lovely walk to the tea garden. We enjoyed a delightful lunch featuring bagels and soup, and the lemon drizzle cake was absolutely delicious. It's a beautiful little island, and I'm excited to return and explore more in the future.

This is a lovely little secluded spot that's perfect for lunch after visiting the castle. The service and food were excellent. I visited on a warm, sunny day and enjoyed a cold drink, but I imagine a cup of tea and a slice of cake would be just as delightful on a rainy day! One note: I had read that they only accept cash, so I came fully prepared, but they've been accepting both card and cash since July 2021.

Simply perfect to have a hot suppe or a tee with muffin after 3 hours walk in the rain! Just note that there are only 2 tables in the tent, all the others are outside. also super clean toilet on a walk is a blessing.

It wasn’t opened yet when I came, but I asked for some tab water from the lady. And I already fall in love with the place!!! She and her wee girl were super nice! Her wee girl even asked me for a sleep over and gave me this lovely flower bracelet she made. How kind and welcoming they are, melting my heart
