Cool room with large selection. the owner takes his work seriously and enjoys the formation of customers. location is a bit outside the most important historical/tourist zone that was for us to get out of all this hectic and hectic.

Great experience and the service was fantastic! I sat at the bar and made a mezcal tasting and kicked me now to not buy a few bottles to get home. definitiw added that to my list of places to go when I return. to oaxaca.

Came on a Saturday afternoon. we were the only guests. the barkeeper was super friendly (spoke English and Spanish) and boasted deep mezcal know. we have decided for two separate tastings totaling six different mezcals. we have a little over each. the agaven and distillation processes learned before the imbibing. I was forced to reconfigure my prejudices about mezcal in very positive manner on the basis of our conversation, as well as the complexity and nuances of each pouring. I highly recommend if they want to splurge (billion before tipp was so it was not cheap on a very educational small drinking adventure. to learn. then drink something. salud!

The place is cozy and small but do not miss the point: here you will find the most complete mezcal menu/collection of the world! (yes, I said of the world) And the guy behind the bar is an open book about everything you can want...to know about the magic water. You can´t be serous about mezcal if you do not visit In Situ.
