Filemón Coffee Producers Munchies

Favorite coffee shop in Oaxaca city! Good ambiance, friendly service, cozy and spacious indoor and outdoor seating areas with wifi, delicious specialty coffee from the region and homemade baked goods. And most importantly, they open early!

Excellent pour over and ambiance is classy and quiet (at least in the morning . Edit: went back and also had the best quiche I have ever had. It was moist, and tastefully accompanied with a leafy salad that was herbaceous and complex (not boring lettuce and or arugula. 10/10

Filemón is my favorite coffee shop in Oaxaca city! Everyone working there is so kind and knowledgeable. The coffee is fantastic, we even brought some beans home for ourselves and others. Their drinks are inventive and delicious. The food looks outstanding as well! It’s beautiful, welcoming, and a great place to take a break from the day or start yourself off on the right foot!

The food, coffee, service, atmosphere, music, and overall vibe at Filemón is just what I look for in a cafe. I spent several afternoons at Filemón during my month long stay in Oaxaca City, and I enjoyed my long afternoons drinking their top notch espresso drinks and snacking on some of the best pastries in the city. Their English muffin breakfast sandwich is also oh so good! And their prices are incredibly reasonable— especially for the quality they serve. The staff is wonderful, too. They really care about everything they do at Filemón.

Absolutely delicious breakfast and coffee. The waiter was extremely helpful and welcoming. He was very patient with our limited Spanish and helped with some English of his own. A highlight of our Oaxaca visit, we will be back again during our stay. Thanks Filemón!
