Sunrise Caribbean - Oakville

For lunch I wanted something different than a hamburger....someone mentioned rotis at the office from Sunrise Caribbean restaurant, I?ve never had theirs so I made the trip to the RioCan centre off of Burloak south of the QEW on the Border of Burlington and Oakville. Sunrise is a small shop but clean, I ordered the chicken roti with medium heat to go, was ready in no time, the other items on the menu looked interesting.... worth another visit. The roti was a good size, nicethin wrap, lots of meat, not too much potato, lots of sauce and she was spicy good heat Normally I eat these like a sandwich, but this one was very saucy, had to eat with a knife and fork or it would end up all over my dress shirt???? Overall, a great tasting Roti, not the best I have had.... but very good! Worth trying out other items...like the jerk chicken

OMG living in Oakville I didn?t think I would find good Caribbean food. This place is GREAT! Friendly service and something for everyone! I had the goat on rice and beans. Just the right amount of curry rice to soak up all that delicious sauce. Absolutely delish! I can?t wait to try the entire menu!

Visited this restaurant many times. The food is good, but the service is horrible. The lady that works there has a rotten attitude and acts like you 're bothering her by going there. No smile, no friendliness, she doesn 't even ask how she can help you. Just looks at you as if to say what do you want . Once I even tried to be polite and said thank you and have a good day when I was leaving and she didn 't even respond. The only reason I 've made many trips there is because thefood is good for what 's available in the area. I try my best not to visit.

Order from skip the food was disgusting and the smallest piece of chicken. I called the number on here and it was a call centre and they were so rude. I will never please do not order from here.

Metro chicken drums with Diana BBQ sauce. Do you really call this jerk?! Hung up without a word 3x. Horrible food and service. You guys suck!
