Spoon and Fork Plus - Oakville

I've ate here dozens of times and it's always been excellent. In the past I have organized work events, and reunions using Spoon and Fork Plus as my go to venue. They can accommodate large groups which is nice and formerly the menu had options for sushi lovers as well as people who like the more traditional 'white' food.But at the last visit we got a nasty surprise: half the menu is gone. If you want deep fried brie, you're out of luck. Same for most of the salads (watermelon, caesar, caprese). Forget about any of the pastas. No mac and cheese, no chicken parm, no steak.It's bewildering that they would gut their menu so deeply and still retain the Plus in the name. Needless to say we opted for dinner at another restaurant. Hopefully management will come to their senses and restore the menu to its former glory. Until then it's just another sushi place, and without the other offerings, overpriced at that.

Went with the family and a friend. Stag was very friendly and helpful. We had the all you can eat buffet. You order and they bring items to the table tapas style. The food was hot and fresh. My favorite was the Green Dragon roll, Salmon and chicken satay. Everything was delicious and everyone enjoyed ALL food items. Will be back over and over again.

My family and myself went out to S&F Plus for my birthday. The restaurant I think was maybe 1/4 full and only had about 3 servers, however they all were very polite and extremely attentive and most importantly very casually friendly.The food was great, probably the best AYCE sushi/asian restaurant around the Oakville area in my opinion. They had refreshed the menu and we tried a number of new things on it, for example something resembling a Thai beef capacio, and at least another 1/2 dozen new appetizers. The main sushi and Thai staples were all excellent and very well proportioned for an AYCE, and above all tasted very fresh and delicious (btw I've eaten at Nobu in NYC as a frame of reference).Suffice to say we thought the service was great, and the food was excellent. To top it off I think one of our servers had overheard it was my birthday and brought out a generous piece of cheesecake to share.

My best friend and I met here for lunch. As always the staff is friendly and accommodating. The manager knows us and always makes sure we have a great dining experience. The new menu has additional selections however some of my past favorites such as smoked salmon gnocchi and the Yandoori Chicken Flatbread are no longer available. I highly recommend the Shrimp and chicken Pad Thai as well as the escargot and Maki Tempura Roll. Great food, company, ambiance and memories.

This is a great place to take the kids. They can do the tasting menu or order one dish like my son does. I get to try a bunch of dishes including sushi and Thai food! But they also have regular entrees and pasta! It's always busy but we have always managed to get in!
