Souvlaki Hut - Oakville

I have driven by this restaurant many times and never went in because it was always empty. I decided to try it and was pleasantly surprised. I had the chicken souvlaki diner.The chicken was very flavourful,I think it was the best greek food I've had in Oakville or Mississauga. Large portions - make sure you get honey sticks.I'm glad I sopped that day.

This place bever disappoints. Have been here numerous times. The Greek salads are always fresh. Love the honey sticks. The rice and chicken are always flavourful. Great portion size.

In a nutshell:The chef made the plate, scratched his face and then with the same hand and fingers, rearranged the food that was on my plate. In culinary school that is a no-no. A big one. It isn't that I am picky, I just care about what goes into my body and if the chef/cook/establishment respects customers. If you don't respect the food you are serving and not caring for it utterly and completely, you shouldn't be doing it. Actual foodies want QUALITY, not QUANTITY. Thanks.James (Ultimate Foodie)

This was our third visit to Souvlaki Hut. The food is made fresh while you wait. You can see the raw meat going on the grill. Both Pork & chicken. The portions are generous. The potatoes melt in your mouth, not sure how they're cooked, but they are amazing. Service is polite and friendly. You place your order & pay at the counter, then it is brought to your table when it ready. Fresh fresh fresh. Delicious.

There's enough to share-we usually order 2 large souvlaki dinners for our family of 4 and there's always enough. If your children are salad eaters you might want to order an extra one as the salads aren't huge.
